I take your ‘summer bop’ and I raise you one ‘autumn BANGER’… actually can’t explain how excited we are for this one to be yours. We have so much love for this song, and it’s been so amazing reaching more people through tiktok and stuff and being able to find amazing people who were sweet enough to be supportive and excited for this too. ‘Grape Vapour’ is our new single, and one of, if not the, favourite of ours so far. Our ‘coming of age anthem’. Written about the voyage into adulthood and a firm rejection of any negative things in the past. Full of anger and repulsion but still with that self-doubt (that we know and love). The idea that you are a ticking time bomb, and ‘Grape Vapour’ is the explosion. The stripped back, more grungy elements separate it from our usual sound, but it still has that darkness, bass, thematic sounds and layered harmonies we love to incorporate into our music.
